COVID-19 Information & Updates

Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital (FMDH) continues providing high-quality healthcare for Northeast Montanans throughout the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. COVID-19 is a virus that includes a range of symptoms that may be mild to severe. Symptoms include respiratory distress, fever, cough, and breathing difficulties.

If you think you have COVID-19, you should self-isolate at home and limit close contact with others as much as you can. Cover your coughs and sneezes, and wear a face mask when you are around others. Avoid sharing personal hygiene items, dishes, or bedding.

Monitor your symptoms and seek prompt medical treatment if you feel worse, but continue self-isolation until you have been seen by a doctor.

Appointments for COVID-19 Symptoms

If you have symptoms that are congruent with Covid-19 or are respiratory based, you can make an appointment with one of our providers at Glasgow Clinic Connect Care by calling (406) 228-3400.

How FMDH Is Dealing With COVID-19

Masks are currently not required for FMDH patients and visitors. Our hospital is following the guidelines set by the CDC for screening, assessing, evaluating, and treating COVID-19. FMDH insists that for everyone’s safety and infection control, mask-wearing is only required for Connect Care patients. We also offer COVID-19 vaccines and boosters.

The Best Way to Protect Yourself Against COVID-19

You can defend against COVID-19 by avoiding exposure to the virus. First and foremost: Get vaccinated. Research shows the vaccine is well tolerated, safe, and effective. You can further protect yourself by practicing social distancing and avoiding crowds. Wash your hands often with warm water and soap or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Make sure to disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

Monoclonal Antibody Therapy

FMDH has a limited supply of monoclonal antibody therapy. To qualify for treatment, you must have a positive Covid-19 test, symptoms for 10 days or less, and be considered high risk. You also need a prescription from one of our providers. To make an appointment for a consult, please call (406) 228-3400.
