Glasgow Clinic Primary Care
Rural Health Clinic Certified
FMDH Glasgow Clinic Primary Care is a fully staffed primary care clinic located within the Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital facility. Our team of compassionate providers, nurses, and support staff offer comprehensive medical treatment to patients of all ages. A primary care provider is “your” provider – the one you see when you have a non-urgent medical concern for wellness consults and health-related issues. It’s helpful to see a primary care provider because they can track your health over time.
Our Services
We offer a full range of primary medical care services as well as internal medicine, family medicine, pediatric care, and obstetrical care. We have 3 family medicine providers, a specialist in internal medicine, 3 family nurse practitioners, a clinical psychologist and a licensed counselor as well as ample nursing and administrative staff.
Some common things we treat include:
- Cold and flu
- Minor injury treatment
- Wellness exams and physicals
- Chronic disease monitoring
- Women’s health, including obstetrics
- Vaccinations/immunization
- Infections, such as strep throat or a urinary tract infection (UTI)
- Checking for sexually transmitted diseases/infections (STD/STIs)
- DOT physicals
- Joint and muscle pain
Establishing Primary Care
Are you new to our area and looking to establish Primary Care? After scheduling your appointment with us, please contact your current primary care clinic to sign a release of medical records to our facility. We require previous medical records prior to your appointment.
*We do not need medical records for acute appointments, only to establish care.*
Your Partner in Healthcare
Primary care providers make organizing your healthcare much easier, as they are the central point of contact for any specialists you may see. They are able to guide your treatment, especially if you keep them updated on your visits to specialists. Our primary care providers at FMDH can also refer you to any local specialists you need to see for treatment. Another benefit of having a primary family medicine provider is that they can treat every member of your household.
Contact Us
Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
You can reach us at (406) 228-3400.
